Our son Ezekiel Ivan C. Aromin, or “Evan” is an only child and also an only grandchild which limited his interaction with other kids.  We wanted to increase his exposure to children his age so we enrolled him in school at a very young age of 3.  Evan’s first school was “traditional” that focused on the core subjects and he had a difficult time comprehending basic ideas since he was still used to “play” and not formal schooling.  On his supposed second year in school, we looked for another school, prayed that it will help Evan love learning.  We saw a flyer on Child’s Space and called to inquire about the school and the methodologies they use.  Teacher Lady scheduled us for a meet up and visit to the school with Teacher Cecilia.  I immediately felt that it was going to be a very good preschool for Evan which will prepare him for big school and help him love learning.  It took about a quarter for Evan to adjust but the journey was well worth it.  Learning through play helped develop Evan’s love for learning.  The low student to teacher ratio also ensured that Evan’s emotional and academic needs were properly monitored and addressed, also in coordination with us, his parents.  Various teaching tools proved effective, with music and arts as those that appealed most to our son.  Two years in Child’s Space transformed Evan from a timid and non-interactive child to a self-confident and very friendly person.  We thank God for leading us to Child’s SPACE and we shall always look back and remember how blessed Evan was to have been “reared” in this institution.
